We have supported the work of Manor C. E. Academy since the school move into our Parish in 1966. At Easter 2009, the school (now Academy) moved to it's new home on Millfield Lane and was welcomed into the Parishes of All Saints and St Everilda in Poppleton.
Our links with Manor continue through the work of the Chaplaincy with our Vicar, the Rev'd Tony Hand continuing to act as Chaplain to the School.
During the year the Chaplaincy helps to support the school in many ways including:
- work with the governing body
- providing the school Eucharist
- leading assemblies
- supporting lessons
- representing the school within the local church, our denery and diocese
- prayer for the school and it's work
- offering pastoral support to staff, students and their families
Autumn and Spring Eucharists
These are held at the school and details of times and venues will be circulated via form tutors to all students.
During the summer term the School Eucharist services are held at Holy Redeemer and begin at 8.40am. Students should aim to arrive at Holy Redeemer by 8.30am. We will return to School in time for the start of period 2 and arrangements for this will be announced after each service.
Manor CE Academy is now part of the Hope Learning Trust, you can find out more about the Hope Learning Trust here.
