#FollowTheStar this Christmas

Christmas is one of the highlights of the Christian year and a time of great celebration. We celebrate God coming to live among us in the person of Jesus Christ, born of Mary.

Among the tinsel, mince pies, shopping and stress we take time to remember the first Christmas: a young mother giving birth to her first child away from home, in a stable shared with animals; Joseph, her husband, probably wondering what he had let himself in for; Shepherds coming to visit the new born baby, who had heard about the new-born king from a host of angels; and later, wise men visiting from far-off lands who had followed the star to find the king.

What a story! A story from 2000 years ago but that today invites us to welcome Jesus Christ into our lives and to see them transformed by his love and power.

Encounter Jesus this Christmas and hear of God’s love for each and every one of us, and the Holy Spirit who can be our guide on our journey.

We would love to welcome you to our church this Christmas – come and hear the greatest story ever told and join us on the adventure…
