Working with others

Many people at Holy Redeemer share their faith with friends and neighbours in all sorts of positive and exciting ways from giving practical help in times of need, supporting groups and organisations like the York Youth and Schools Trust and sharing in worship with them.

Together as a Church in 2009 our work with other Churches included:

Joining with other York Churches to celebrate Pentecost with 'Prayer on the Walls' with 1000's of Christians meeting along the city walls and praying for the life of the City and for all the peoples of the world - you can find out more about this years event at http://www.onevoiceyork.org.uk/story.asp?itemID=945&pcid=130

Working with Lidgett Grove Methodist, All Saints and St Everilda's Poppleton and Crossroads Church to run an Alpha course during September - November.

Working with Lidgett Grove Methodist and Crossroads Churches to deliver 3500 invitations to the homes in our part of York to our Easter and Christmas Celebrations.

It is hoped then that in 2010 we will continue to work with others and have more good news to report as we share this with them.
